PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded body, a method of manufacturing molded body and a molding die for providing an optical component having a satisfactory surface precision and the homogeneous interior. SOLUTION: The molded body 10 made by molding a molding material injected into cavities in a pair of molding dies is composed of the optical component 11 having an optical surface and a surrounding part 13 which is positioned around the optical component 11 and is molded integrally with the optical component 11.
