摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery condition detector for realizing electricity saving while also enhancing battery condition detection accuracy. SOLUTION: When discharge current Id flowing through a battery 11 exceeds a threshold, a switch-type hall IC outputs a wake-up signal S2 to that effect. A CPU 21 performs condition detection processing for detecting the condition of the battery 11 based on discharging current Id or charging current Ic output from an output terminal T1 of a sensor circuit 152, and on a terminal voltage Vb output from a voltage detection circuit 19. The CPU 21 moves to a sleep mode to stop the detection processing when the wake-up signal S2 is not output while moving to an active mode to start the detection processing when the wake-up signal S2 is output.
