TACTILE SENSATION OFFERING MECHANISM AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT EQUIPPED WITH TACTILE SENSATION OFFERING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile sensation offering mechanism which can offer clear tactile sensation to a user's fingertip with very slight power consumption.

SOLUTION: The tactile sensation offering mechanism provided at an electronic game machine 10 is equipped with a pair of tactile sensation offering sections 20 provided at a rear face of a cabinet 12. Each tactile sensation offering section is equipped with a support section 22 and three piezoelectric actuators 24 supported by the support section. Relative displacement (d) changing with lapse of time is generated between an upper surface 22a of the support section and an upper surface 24a of the piezoelectric actuator and temporal change of the relative displacement is made sensible by the user's fingertip.
