PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal capable of inexpensively improving security while preventing unauthorized access such as telephone number spoofing, and a remote control system provided with such a telephone terminal. SOLUTION: When the telephone terminal 2 detects an incoming call from a portable telephone, it counts a number of times of incoming calls by an authentication information acquisition means (a first authentication information acquisition program 254c or the like), and acquires a telephone number by an acquisition means (a telephone number acquisition program 254d or the like). When authentication by an authentication means (a first authentication program 254e or the like) is executed, calling is automatically executed by a calling means (a calling program 254f or the like) to the telephone number of the portable telephone stored by the authentication information storage means (an authentication information registration table 253a or the like).
