PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parachute large in resistance coefficient, superior in stability and capable of restraining weight increase minimal. SOLUTION: This parachute is furnished with an umbrella body 1 to be roughly semi-spherical in deployment and furnished with an umbrella edge part 12 constituting a semi-spherical open surface, an umbrella top part 11 forming a top part of the umbrella body, an umbrella central part 1 connecting the umbrella edge part and the umbrella top part to each other and an umbrella extending part curved in the inside direction to extend from the umbrella edge part and constitutes its characteristic feature of providing a plurality of openings 15 on the umbrella extending part and forming stabilizers 141 of the umbrella extending part axially symmetrically with respect to the central axis of the umbrella body.
