PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gathering a booklet in which unnecessary regions are less, the production cost is low and the gathering is performed from at least two windings which can correspond to a printed matter with a high quality, an apparatus for gathering the booklet, and the booklet. SOLUTION: A stretchable region 110a stretchable is provided in a margin region between each booklet using regions S1 of a first winding 110. The stretchable region 110a is notches extending in a perforation-like shape in the vertical direction to the longitudinal direction of the first winding 110, and is formed by arranging two or more rows in the longitudinal direction, and the adjoining rows of the notches are formed so that the positions of the notches are shifted in the vertical direction in the longitudinal direction.
