PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting mat, having excellent flexibility and elastic recovery nature of a scar, not deteriorating cutting performance for paper or the like in spite of continuous use, and not containing vinyl chloride. SOLUTION: This cutting mat has a surface layer mainly composed of propylene resin composition, characterized in that it has a sea-island structure taking propylene and ethylene as essential components and containing a copolymer phase of propylene and anotherα-olefin having 8 or less carbon atoms in a matrix made of polymer component mainly composed of propylene and having a melting point peak temperature of 150°C or more, wherein (1) xylene soluble part at a room temperature is 10 to 60 wt.%, (2) the content ofα-olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms other than propylene in the xylene soluble part at a room temperature is 5 to 20 wt.%, and (3) the number average molecular weight of xylene soluble part at a room temperature ranges from 50,000 to 200,000.
