<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device capable of forming a color filter of high quality at low cost by controlling precision of superposition of an ink jet head on a substrate, i.e. a solid-state imaging element side to≤±1μm. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing device is equipped with a nozzle unit which has a base and injection nozzles arrayed on the top surface of the base to inject color filter materials of specified colors at specified intervals matching a formation pitch of color filters and a position adjusting means of positioning the base and a substrate so that the injection nozzles are arranged opposite specified positions of the substrate where the color filters should be formed and adjusting the position of the substrate.
