PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start viewing with a sound volume level preset when turning on power only by turning on power. SOLUTION: When power is turned on by pressing a suitable sound button 34, a control unit 11 instructs output at a suitable sound setting volume level to a sound control circuit 16. When power is turned on by a power button 31, the currently set sound volume level is compared with the suitable sound setting volume level. When the current set sound volume level is within a fixed range to the suitable sound setting volume level, the output is instructed at the currently set sound volume level to the sound control circuit 16 at that time. When the currently set sound volume level is outside a fixed range to the suitable sound setting volume level; a timer circuit 19 starts measuring the fixed time, it is confirmed whether the suitable sound button 34 or a volume button 33 is pressed during the measurement for the fixed time, and the output at a sound volume level matching each button is instructed to the sound control circuit 16 when the suitable sound button 34 or the volume one 33 is pressed.
