PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large scale platform system LSI used for a plurality of users as a platform which can improve an yield of products by a simple method. SOLUTION: A platform system LSI 100 is characterized in that failure can be independently detected by preparing an independent test circuit in each functional blocks 102, 103, 104, and 105, by arranging separating means 101 between each functional blocks 102, 103, 104, and 105, in that when the failure is intermingled in the functional block 102, the functional block 102 is electrically separated using the separating means 101, and in that consequently, with respect to users among a plurality of the users who do not use functions possessed by the functional block 102, this platform system LSI 100 can be used as an excellent article.
