PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device designed such that printing is carried out regardless of the direction of the arrangement of image data by disposing the length of a projection lens along the direction of conveying a lens sheet, and to provide a printer and a printing method. SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: a determination means 151 for determining whether a print image is a variable image or not when the print image and the lens sheet 12 are rotated along a rotation axis parallel to one direction during the stage of a virtual image for printing the print image on the lens sheet 12; an image rotating means 153 by which, when the print image is determined to be the variable image, each image data is rotated and a reference direction for image data corresponding to the direction of the rotation axis is changed from a direction perpendicular to the direction of conveyance to a direction parallel to the direction of conveyance; and an image converting means 156 for creating composite image data from pieces of image data rotated by the image rotating means 153 and a plurality of image data used as a reference for a print image determined as not to be a variable image.
