PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent boiled-over soup intruding into flame holes from falling into a burner body through a communication hole in a burner, for a cooking stove having a plurality of the flame holes 5 formed radially with spaces therebetween in the peripheral direction on the upper face of a burner cap placed on a burner body, the burner cap composed of a lower plate member 6 and an upper plate member 7, the lower plate member 6 having a plurality of protrusions 62 with spaces therebetween in the peripheral direction, the upper plate member 7 having a plurality of cut-and-raised parts 73 formed thereon for defining each of the flame holes 5 between cut-and-raised parts 73 and the protrusions 62, and gas introduced to the flame holes 5 via the communication holes 63 opened on parts between the protrusions 62 of the lower plate member 6. SOLUTION: Hollow parts 64 lower than the upper end of the hole edge of each of the communication holes 63 is formed on the upper face of the part between the communication holes 63 of the lower plate member 6, and the protrusions 62 are protrudingly formed at the hollow parts 64. The hollow parts 64 become receiving parts of the boiled-over soup, and the soup is prevented from falling in the burner body from the communication holes 63. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
