PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of being installed in a limited space and protecting an image display panel from heat of sun light by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The image display panel is arranged in a spherical case 41 having a window part 43 and when a meter control circuit inputs an ON signal according to ON or OFF of an ignition switch of the vehicle, a turning means is driven only to rotate a case 41 in any one direction of left and right relative to a front direction of the vehicle or an advancement direction of the vehicle and the window part 43 and the image display panel are made opposed to visually recognize a display content. When the OFF signal is inputted, the turning means is driven to rotate the case 41 in any one direction of left and right relative to a rear direction of the vehicle or an advancement direction of the vehicle and the window part 43 and the image display panel are not made opposed.
