PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for driving an electrolytic capacitor that can reduce specific resistance and increase a withstand voltage. SOLUTION: In the electrolyte for driving an electrolytic capacitor, a carboxylic acid such as a benzoic acid, a formic acid, an adipic acid, and a sebacic acid, its salt such as ammonium and dimethylamine, and a ferulic acid expressed by a chemical expression are blended to a solvent with ethyleneglycol or the like as a main constituent. The amount of the blend of the ferulic acid is preferably in a range of 0.1 to 5.0 wt.% to the entire electrolyte. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
