PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system interlockingly operating two hot water supply equipments capable of preventing degradation of hot water supply capacity when either operation as a master side or a slave side of the hot water supply equipment becomes inoperative. SOLUTION: The hot water supply equipment 1, 2 respectively comprise a connection communication terminal 12, a master control means 11, an external communication terminal 23, and a slave control means 21, and are provided with a communication cable 3 connecting to the connection communication terminal 12 of either one of the hot water supply equipment out of the hot water supply equipment 1, 2 and the external communication terminal of the other hot water supply equipment, and a failure notifying means 25 for notifying failures in a failure of the master control means 11 provided on the hot water supply equipment operating as the master side out of the hot water supply equipment 1, 2 and a failure of the slave control means 21 provided on the hot water supply equipment operating as the slave side out of the hot water supply equipment 1, 2.
