PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel of superior quality in which display noise and ringing noise of a panel have been prevented from occurring without deteriorating exhaust gas efficiency. SOLUTION: This is the PDP (Plasma Display Panel) 121 which has the front face substrate 122 for having formed a plurality of display electrodes, and has the rear face substrate 123 wherein an address electrode and barrier ribs 111 in parallel with the address electrode have been formed in the direction orthogonal to the display electrode, and discharge gas has been filled into the discharge space by arranging the front face substrate 122 and the rear face substrate 123 opposingly so that a discharge space will be formed, and by sealing their surroundings with a sealing material for sealing. This is provided with a sealing layer 120 for pasting the front face substrate 122 and the rear face substrate 123 together, and spacers 2 are arranged between the sealing layer 120 and the barrier rib 111.
