PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device including a reproduction speed adjusting function capable of grasping a state of reproduction at a glance when the reproduction speed is at the maximum state. SOLUTION: The reproducing device 1 is provided with a reproducing means 3 for reproducing video/voice signals stored in a recording medium 2, and a control means 5 for changing stepwise the reproduction speed of the video being reproduced by the reproducing means 3, and when the reproduction speed is changed to the maximum, it is displayed on a display part in characters such as "MAX" that the reproduction speed is at the maximum.
