PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a vehicle capable of reducing a clearance to a bumper and securing the strength of a mounting part. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device for the vehicle comprises a hinge 7 having a base 9 mounted to a vehicle body 1, and an arm 8 turnably supported to the base 9; an openable/closable lower door 3 mounted to the arm 8; and the bumper 4 arranged below the lower door 3 in the closed state to cover the base 9 from the rear. The arm 8 is formed in bent shape to straddle the bumper 4 when the lower door 3 is in the open state and to arrange the lower door 3 on the rear side of the vehicle body rather than the bumper 4, and the arm 8 is mounted to the vehicle width direction side face of the lower door 3 so that the uppermost part of the arm 8 in the open state of the lower door 3 is located below the upper face of the lower door 3.
