The method involves applying processing data of an internet page and/or an intranet page, and storing the data on a server (3) in a data format. The data are transmitted over an internet (5) and/or intranet to a data processing unit (13). The transmitted data are received by the data processing unit. The data processing unit changes the data to another data format. The data with latter data format are transmitted to an industrial automation device (15) and/or to a visualization device (11) so as to completely or partially represent the page on the industrial automation device. An independent claim is also included for a system for representing an internet page and/or intranet page on a visualization device and an industrial automation device.
