The system has a set of processing stations e.g. stacking station (16) for stacking of objects, transmission stations (18, 26, 32) for stack-wise removal and delivering of the objects and turning stations (24, 30, 44) for selective turning of stack of the objects. Packaging stations are provided for packing the objects in an outer package, where the system has a modular construction, and the processing stations are designed as separate devices that follow one after another along a material flow direction. An evaluating device is provided for optical quality control of the objects. An independent claim is also included for a method for packaging objects.
