A method for laying cables in a cable harness on a door web having a dry zone and a wet zone of the vehicle door separated from one another, involves the steps of (a) providing the door-web with a number of entrances, where an entrance is arranged in the vicinity of one or more adjacent electrical loads (b) laying the cable towards the corresponding entrances on one side of the door-web facing the dry zone and (c) coupling the respective cable by an associated plug to a pin-channel of the corresponding electrical load. An independent claim is given for a motor vehicle door.
