The vehicle has a hermetically sealed installation space (20) lying within a vehicle body (45). The space has a cooling device (70) connected with a traction vehicle component e.g. transformer, to be cooled. The cooling device is designed in such a manner that it sucks in the ambient air of the vehicle as a cooling air during its cooling operation. The cooling device directly or indirectly cools the component, and a warmed cooling air is directly conducted from the installation space, such that the cooling air and the warmed cooling air in the space remains separated from each other.
