<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid performing unnecessary information relaying and prevent the communication volume of a vehicle from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus determines whether a user's vehicle is located in a range of a distance from an intersection where information relaying is required, and whether it is in a situation where information relaying is required (Step S2), whether there is a combination of vehicles near the user's vehicle for which the user's vehicle needs to relay information from the communication conditions between the vehicles near the user's vehicle (Step S3), and whether the nearby vehicles are in a situation where they need information from the predicted driving courses of the nearby vehicles (Step S4). When all these are applicable (Step S5), the apparatus determines that the user's vehicle needs to perform information relaying, and transmits the driving information from the nearby vehicle which needs relaying, to the vehicle to which the information needs to be relayed (Step S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
