<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color processing method and a color processing device capable of precisely and easily matching the appearance of the colors between a target display and output equipment used together. <P>SOLUTION: The display color of a color chip and a background color chip displayed on the target display are adjusted. The display color of the color chip and background color chip after adjustment and the output color of the color chip and background color chip before adjustment outputted by output equipment to be calibrated are measured. Based on each measurement value, a correction parameter for prescribing color correction characteristics between the target display and the output equipment to be calibrated is set.
