<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device and an image formation device capable of preventing generation of damage of a sheet and sheet image. <P>SOLUTION: Fixing treatment of an image is performed and regarding the sheets S1, S2 successively conveyed with a predetermined gap, the fixing treatment is performed again by a re-fixing treatment part 5. Sheet conveying means 120-124 capable of switching the sheet conveying speed to a first sheet conveying speed and a second sheet conveying speed slower than the first sheet conveying speed are provided on a sheet conveying passage 6 for conveying the sheets S1, S2 to the re-fixing treatment part 5.
