<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of quickly obtaining a print result by controlling a processing operation of a transparency function in response to a state. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a transparency processing means that detects an overlap of a plurality of objects, carries out regional divisions by each of regions wherein the number of overlapped objects differs, and executes transparency processing through color composition applied to each region; a display means that displays a message for denoting execution of the transparency processing when the transparency processing means starts execution of the transparency processing; an input means of receiving an instruction of stopping the execution of the transparency processing while the display means displays the message; and a control means that replaces the transparency processing with ordinary processing to implement the ordinary processing when the input means receives the instruction of stopping the execution of the transparency processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
