<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which reduces discharge to the outside of a machine, of volatile organic compounds (VOC) by a simple configuration without increasing the amount of adsorption on activated carbon neither raising a temperature in the machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic device, a member 36 with activated carbon is disposed in a component placed immediately above a fixing device 8 using a heat roller and a heat belt in order to remove volatile organic compounds produced by heat of the fixing device 8, whereby VOC discharge to the outside of the machine is reduced by the simple configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
