PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for processing an image capable of generating an allocated image by a specifying method easy to understand for a user when the allocated image is generated. SOLUTION: The device for processing the image generates the allocated image for forming a plurality of original images on one recording medium. In the device, a layout specifying information displaying a layout on the recording medium of a plurality of the original images is acquired, and the reference direction of a plurality of the original images to the recording medium is acquired by an angle value specified by the user.
