PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a change in steering reaction force caused by a difference in driving force between right and left steering wheels, and control steering auxiliary force so as to promote steering in a stabilizing direction of whirling motion and suppress steering in a destabilizing direction of the whirling motion. SOLUTION: In a steering auxiliary force control device, a basic assist torque Tab for reducing a steering burden of a driver is calculated (S20, 30), and a correction coefficient K is calculated so as to promote the steering in the stabilizing direction of the whirling motion and suppress the steering in the destabilizing direction of the whirling motion (S40 to 110). Also, the correction quantity Tkp of the assist torque is calculated based on a target yaw moment Mft to be applied to a vehicle by a difference in driving force between right and left front wheels (S120). As a value obtained by subtracting a product KTkp of the correction coefficient K, and the correction quantity Tkp of the assist torque from the basic assist torque Tab, a target assist torque Ta after correction is calculated (S160).
