PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain soil dressing for lessening the additional used amount of fertilizer component and to provide a method for producing the same, with which industrial wastes such as beer cake, Shochu lees, etc., are effectively used with low energy. SOLUTION: Soil dressing is produced by mixing diatomaceous earth with beer cake, Shochu lees and fermenting the mixture. The obtained soil dressing comprises an organic fertilizer component, omits labor of fertilizing, betters workability, improves soil and regulates a plant growth environment.
