PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a drawing view into which a dimension is inserted by use of a direction of a bend line. SOLUTION: This dimension generation system 1 generating the dimension on the basis of a sheet metal model has: a sheet metal shape recognition part 9 recognizing a shape of the sheet metal model, and specifying the bend line; and a bend shape dimension insertion processing part 11 generating the dimension to the drawing view wherein at least the bend line of the sheet metal model is vertically drawn.
