PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens array which has a long focal length and high light convergence efficiency. SOLUTION: The microlens array is constituted having a first light-transmissive substrate 2 provided with a plurality of microconvex surfaces 22, a second light-transmissive substrate 3 which is provided with microconcave surfaces 31 corresponding to the microconvex surfaces 22 and has the microconcave surfaces 31 arranged opposite the microconvex surfaces 22, and light-transmissive high-refractive-index resin 4 charged in the gap between the first light-transmissive substrate 2 and second light-transmissive substrate 3 and has a larger refractive index than the substrates 2 and 3, so that convex lens parts 41 are meniscus lenses.
