PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier with low calorific power and inexpensive running cost capable of preventing jetting of microorganisms and inorganic ions. SOLUTION: The humidifier is equipped with an atomizing cylinder 6 for guiding water particles generated by an ultrasonic oscillator 2 provided on a main body 1 to the outside of the main body 1, and a heating means 7 provided to the atomizing cylinder 6. By structuring the heating means 7 by a magnetic body 8 arranged in the atomizing cylinder 6 and an electromagnetic coil 9 for giving a high-frequency magnetic field to the magnetic body 8, the humidifier with low small calorific power and an inexpensive running cost capable of preventing jetting of microorganisms and inorganic ions can be obtained.
