PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable container capable of enhancing the workability of a taking-out work, and preventing a stored article from being damaged. SOLUTION: In the foldable container, a side wall 2 to be folded first from a state assembled in a box shape consists of a lower wall part 2A hinge-connected to a bank part 1a of a bottom part 1, and an upper wall part 2B slidable to the lower wall part 2A. Thus, a stored article does not enter a recess formed in the lower side wall when the container is assembled in a box shape unlike a conventional foldable container in which the upper side part is turned relative to the lower side part, and the upper side part is inserted into the recess formed in the lower side part, the workability of the taking-out work of the stored article is enhanced while preventing the stored article from being abutting on a corner part formed by forming the recess, and from being damaged thereby.
