PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high heat efficiency by ensuring a constitution of a burner port capable of minimizing the deformation of the burner port by an external force and thermal expansion, and keeping favorable combustion with respect to a burner used in a cooking stove applying gas or petroleum as its fuel. SOLUTION: Two-stage projecting portions 8 are radially formed on a burner port plate 5, a first flat portion 9 and a second flat portion 10 are formed on the upper face of a first projecting portion 6 and the upper face of a second projecting portion 7, respectively, to prevent structural deformation, and a slit-shaped burner port 13 is formed on a rectangular portion 11 at one side of the second projecting portion 7 on the basis of the prevention of structural deformation. Since an area kept into contact with flame 19 of the back of the slit-shaped burner port 13 is minimized, and the generation of unburnt gas is reduced, a distance between the burner port plate 5 and a pan can be reduced, and high heat efficiency can be achieved.
