<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker array unit capable of setting a sound pressure level at a desired position higher than that at other positions, even if a substance for propagating sound moves in reference to a speaker. <P>SOLUTION: The speaker array unit outputs sound from a plurality of speakers so that the sound pressure level increases at target positions (right- and left-speaker target positions Rt, Lt) on the assumption that the substance (air), which propagates the sound output from the plurality of speakers 11a-11o, and stands still in reference to the plurality of speakers. In this case, the unit detects speed and a direction (air movement velocity Vw) where air being present between the positions of a plurality of speakers and a target position moves (step 610), and determines the target position, based on the detected air movement speed, and positions (desired light- and left-speaker positions R0, L0) where it is desired that the sound pressure level increases actually (step 650). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
