<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store informations written to a plurality of media together. <P>SOLUTION: An image generator has a receiver 20a receiving a printing indication containing an electronic document, and a corresponding-information management unit 21 acquiring positional information continued over a plurality of the media regarding a specific region in the electronic document and registering the positional information to a corresponding-information DB 22 as required. The image generator further has an information separator 23 separating information required for generating a coded image, and the information required for generating a document image and a document-image generator 24 generating the document image of the electronic document.
