<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by carrying out both of velocity detection and home-position detection by a single sensor. <P>SOLUTION: Four distinguishing marks 2 are formed on the side face of a rotating drum 113, and a sensor 3 for detecting the distinguishing marks 2 shifting with the rotation of the rotating drum 113 is included. The rotation detecting device 1 detects the rotating angle of the rotating drum 113 through the detection by the sensor 3. Among four distinguishing marks 2, one mark is different from the other distinguishing marks 2 in terms of width, so that the pulse width of a detection signal outputted by the sensor 3 is made different from those of the other distinguishing marks 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
