PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which can move graphics as smoothly as a moving image. SOLUTION: An AVClip, which is obtained by multiplexing a moving-image stream and graphics stream, is recorded to a BD-ROM. The graphics stream is a sequence of PES packets. A PES packet is classified into an ODS which stores graphics data, and a PCS which stores control information. The PCS indicates that graphics data in the preceding ODS in the PES packet sequence are synthesized and displayed with the moving-image stream at a prescribed timing. The PCS and the ODS each belong to different Display Sets, respectively. The ODS can be non-reference graphics data which are not referred to from the PCS in the same Display Set.
