PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and firmly adhere the plasma display panel and the chassis and yet make it easy to separate them when required, and also effectively radiate the heat generated in the plasma display panel through the chassis and warranty improved image qualities and reliable operations. SOLUTION: A plasma display device has a flat plasma display panel which is made of a pair of substrates transparent at least in the front and has discharge cells counterposed between the substrates, and a chassis to support the display panel. The plasma display panel and the chassis are reliably and stably adhered and secured with the extendable and peelable adhesive disposed between them, and the heat generated in the plasma display panel is radiated very effectively through the chassis.
