PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a large sized liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus at low cost, in which overshoot driving is adopted, while suppressing noise generation. SOLUTION: The LCD apparatus comprises a first display control circuit 210 for controlling action of a first source driver 310, and a display control circuit 220 for controlling action of a second source driver 320. Image data DAT from outside is given to the first display control circuit 210. In the first display control circuit 210, based on a current frame grayscale Kt indicated by the image data DAT and a previous frame grayscale Ks stored in a first frame memory 212, an applying grayscale Ku is determined. The applying grayscale Ku is coded by a coding section 214 and transmitted from the first display control circuit 210 to the second display control circuit 220 as coding data.
