METHOD OF MANUFACTURING REFERENCE GAUGE USED FOR INSPECTION OF FLAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method manufacture which enables the manufacture of a reference gauge of high quality used for the inspection of a flaw capable of accurately inspecting whether the internal flaw of an inspection target satisfies a maintenance standard. SOLUTION: The reference gauge 1 for the inspection of the flaw is formed by integrating first and second pieces 3 by diffusion joint to form the recessed groove 4 or the like conforming to the maintenance standard in the reference gauge 1 in a sealed state. The reference gauge is obtained by preliminarily forming the recessed grooves 4 or the like to the joint surfaces 2a and 3a of the first piece 2 and the second piece 3 or the edge surfaces of both pieces by laser processing or the like and uniting both pieces to perform the diffusion joining of them by an HIP device.
