PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temperature regenerator inexpensively realizing NOx reduction and efficiency improvement at the same time, and to provide an absorption refrigerating machine provided with the high temperature regenerator. SOLUTION: The high temperature regenerator 32A is provided with a cylindrical combustion chamber 20 passing through combustion gas Gb generated by a burner 16 arranged on one end, a rear smoke box 22 formed on the other end in an opposite side of the burner 16 arranged end to receive the combustion gas Gb, a smoke tube 12 passing through the combustion gas Gb of the rear smoke box 22, and a communication tube 13 guiding the combustion gas of the rear smoke box 22 to a burner 16 arranged end neighborhood in the combustion chamber, and a liquid space 23 to be filled with a solution S is formed around a periphery of these. The absorption refrigerating machine is provided with the high temperature regenerator 32A. The NOx reduction can be carried out by taking the combustion gas Gb cooled by heat exchange with a dilute solution Sw into flame or the like, and suppressing rising of a flame temperature.
