PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint part structure and a coupling preventing wood from sinking in and splitting in a joint part structure of a wooden building, specifically at a joint part between columns, between the column and a beam, between a sill and the column, or the like, and to provide the coupling for a wood shaft member, and a wood shaft member joining method using the coupling for easily constructing a rigid-frame structure type framework with a wooden framework. SOLUTION: Column sockets and beam sockets are used in joining the end faces of the sill column and column, the column and beam, and the column and column. Joint members are interposed between the sockets and between the column socket and beam socket to join the fitting parts of the socket and joint member through a tapered fitting hole and a tapered fitting part. Edge parts provided at the ends of the sockets are joined through a collar part provided at the joint member without joining wood faces to each other at the joint faces. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
