PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil fence which enhances the effect of preventing the diffusion of oil, by suppressing the outflow of oil from a connecting section of the oil fence by the falling of the upside of the connecting section. SOLUTION: The oil fence is composed of the connecting sections 2A and 2B for connecting a plurality of oil fence bodies 1A and 1B, both the sides surfaces of which have buoyancy bodies 13A and 13B and where horizontally-long curtain-like skirt sections 11A and 11B are suspended, via longitudinal ends. The oil fence is characterized in that a buoyancy structure 3 is provided in such a manner as to sandwich the connecting sections 2A and 2B of the oil fence. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
