PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side body structure capable of preventing degradation of press molding capability without requiring deep drawing of a body side panel portion where a front fender is mounted even when a side sill protector attached to the underneath of a body side panel door opening portion is largely protruded to the outside in the vehicle width direction due to body molding. SOLUTION: This vehicle side body structure is provided so that a rear underneath in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the front fender 7 is fixed to a front portion in the vehicle longitudinal direction of a body side panel outer 1 through a bracket 15; a cap sill molding 25 is provided for covering clearance which is formed between the front fender 7 and the body side panel outer 1; and the upper portion of the cap sill molding 25 is fixed to the front fender 7 and the lower portion thereof is fixed to the bracket 15.
