PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservoir for a vehicular hydraulic master cylinder with a reservoir lower half, a reservoir upper half, and a rib half welded to each other in an excellent state. SOLUTION: A reservoir union 1 is formed by welding the reservoir lower half 3 having a lower rib half 3a to the reservoir upper half 4 having a rib upper half 4a. Pressing flat parts 3b, 4b formed in shapes corresponding to at least rib halves 3a, 4a are respectively formed on outer surfaces at the rib forming position of the reservoir lower half 3 and the reservoir upper half 4. When the reservoir lower half 3 is welded to the reservoir upper half 4, the lower rib half 3a is welded to the upper rib half 4a while pressing the flat parts 3b, 4b inward of the reservoir.
