TRANSDUCER WORKING WITH SURFACE WAVES

A transducer working with surface waves is subdivided into cells whose length essentially equals a wavelength, and comprises cells of the second cell type, i.e. SPUDT cells having an excitation strength of 100 %, and at least one cell of the first cell type having at least four excitation centres, one of the excitation centres lying between two adjacent fingers of different polarities, and the cell of the first cell type having an excitation strength of maximum 30 %.
