<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strategic characteristics and taste of a game by giving a damage or occupying multiple positions at a time without directly fighting units to each other by moving the units taking account of the disposition of friends and enemies on a map and strength of the enemies. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine, for example, executes a war simulation game by being divided into the enemies and the friends and fighting by moving the units on the map. When moving a unit, whether the moved unit and a friend unit pertaining to a friend army or a friend's base can sandwich an enemy unit or surrounds an enemy unit is determined. When they sandwich or surround the enemy unit, then, for example, a damage is given to a hit point of the enemy unit.
