<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively solve a defect generated, e.g. around internal conductors in a multilayer ceramic substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the multilayer ceramic substrate 1, a plurality of glass ceramic layers 2a-2d are laminated. The glass ceramic layers 2a-2d each contain a glass component and a ceramic component, and further, Ag dissolves in the glass component.
